Conditions Treated

Please scroll down to review the range of conditions I specialise in treating. If you have any questions regarding the suitability of Physiotherapy for your particular condition, please get in contact and we can discuss your individual case

Lower Back

Back pain and referred pain such as sciatica, can be incredibly painful. Many factors contribute to this type of pain, in our session, we'll explore these factors and develop a treatment plan to manage your discomfort as effectively and quickly as possible.

Neck and Upper Back

Neck pain can cause pain into the arm or into the head and interfere with daily living such as being able to turn your neck comfortably to drive. In our session we will assess the joints, muscles and nerves to target a treatment plan for you.

Pre and Post Natal Pain

During and after pregnancy your body goes through many changes. Sometimes this can lead to pelvic girdle pain or diastesis recti. Physiotherapy can help you manage these symptoms allowing you time to focus on your family.

Elderly Rehab

As we age, strength and mobility naturally decline. I’m here to help you maintain your optimal function and stay as active as possible. Whether you've experienced a sudden change in mobility, such as after a hospital stay, or noticed a gradual decline over time, I can assist you in rebuilding your strength, balance, and confidence.

Orthopaedics

Physiotherapy plays a key role in optimizing recovery both before and after surgery, as well as following a fracture. It helps restore your movement and strength, getting you back to the activities you enjoyed prior to your injury. I will assess your current status and advise on management which may include exercise and hands on therapy if appropriate.

Sports Injuries

Sports injuries can stem from trauma or overuse, leading to conditions like sprains, strains, or tendinopathy. Repetitive movements or postures can also contribute to repetitive strain injuries. An assessment will help pinpoint the cause of the injury and offer guidance on recovery, so you can get back to your activities as quickly as possible.

Shoulder

The shoulder is a fascinating joint with many elements involved in its control and movement. Issues can arise in the joints, tendons, muscles, and other structures. Book an assessment to identify the cause of your pain and learn how to manage it effectively.

Knee

Knee pain can develop at any age, and I frequently work with individuals ranging from teenagers to older adults dealing with knee issues. This pain can interfere with your ability to walk and stay active. I’ll assess your knee and work with you to restore its function.

Hip and Groin

Hip pain can originate in the hip joints or muscles, but it can also be referred pain from the lower back. I’ll conduct a thorough assessment to determine the root cause of your pain, allowing us to work together to resolve the issue.

Wrist and Elbow

Wrist and elbow pain can result from sports injuries, like tennis elbow, or from repetitive strain at work. An assessment will help identify the underlying cause of your pain and explore strategies to reduce it and promote recovery.

Foot and Ankle

Foot and ankle pain can really set you back,  making it difficult to walk comfortably. I’ll assess the mechanics of your foot and ankle and offer guidance on the best way to manage and treat the issue.

Rheumatology

This may involve long-term management of rheumatological conditions like arthritis, osteoporosis, or other related disorders. We focus on setting long-term goals and creating personalized management plans.
